Legislative Committee Charge:
(Authored by National President Richard A. Crosby and adopted by the National Executive Committee - October 24, 2006)

1. Evaluate the possibility (similar to that begun prior to the 1997 Assembly) of separating the current National Constitution and General Regulations for Collegiate Chapters with the possibility in mind of making the National Constitution as basic and non-changing as possible, with all other items being moved to newly created By-laws. If the NEC decides to pursue this, it would then be the work of this committee to execute that project.
2. Prepare proposed legislative items for possible inclusion on the docket.
3. Develop a policy and/or potential amendments to the governing documents which provide specific guidelines for the proposal of amendments to the governing documents and/or other new business items.
