Sinfonia’s Music Advocacy Committee is working to increase chapters’ and alumni associations’ presence in music support and advocacy efforts, including the development of resources to help chapters and alumni associations with advocacy of music on local and state levels. The Committee will encourage individual member participation in the advocacy and support of music, and investigate chapter participation in existing music advocacy/support programs. The Committee is also developing resources for members to easily access valid research on the benefits of impact of music and the arts.
