COMMUNICATIONS PROFESSIONAL HIRED
May 19, 2011
Mark Wilson,
Delta Eta (Youngstown) '03, has been selected to serve on the national staff at Lyrecrest as the Fraternity's new Director of Communications.
Mark is a 2003 initiate of the Delta Eta chapter at Youngstown University. While a member of Delta Eta, Mark served as Master of Ceremonies and Historian. He helped his young chapter develop its focus on Sinfonian ideals, and attended Conclave 2005, at which he presented his work, "Elegy," which is available for reading in the writings section of the Sinfonia website.
In March, Chief Operating Officer Jeremy Evans announced a staff re-structuring and search for a new Director of Communications. This announcement is the culmination of that re-structuring and search.
"We had an exceptional crop of candidates for this position, and Mark stood out from the rest for his demonstrated skills in writing, editing and strategic communications. I'm very pleased to be welcoming him to the national staff team, and to committing to increasing the quality of every Sinfonia communication," Evans said.
Mark will start work at the national headquarters on June 20. Notes of congratulations are encouraged - Mark can be reached via email at
