$6,500 IN SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE; APPLICATIONS DUE FEB. 1

December 17, 2009

SEF Scholarships Now Available! The Sinfonia Educational Foundation is proud to announce the availability of $6,500 in scholarships to collegiate Sinfonians. Applications for the scholarships, which range from $500 to $2,500, are due by February 1, 2010.

The scholarships available are as follows:
  • Sinfonia Educational Foundation Scholarships (2): $2,500 and $1,500
  • James H. Patrenos Memorial Scholarship: $1,000
  • W. Eldridge and Emily Lowe Scholarship: $1,000
  • Delta Iota Alumni Scholarship: $500
A new feature of the SEF scholarship program this year is that applicants must only complete and submit one application to be considered for all five scholarships. Applications will be scored, and scholarships will be awarded in declining order of scholarship value (i.e. the top score will receive the $2,500 scholarship, the second-place score will receive the $1,500 scholarship, and so on).

Complete information on the scholarships, including the application form and submission instructions, is available on the SEF website at:
http://www.sinfonia.org/SEF/scholarships/

Any questions on the scholarship program may be directed to the National Headquarters by email or by phone at (800) 473-2649, ext. 107.
