- Derek J. Danilson began his Sinfonian journey at the University of Northern Iowa and served in a variety of chapter offices including Vice President, Treasurer, and Fraternity Education Officer. In 1994, he relocated to the East Coast and continued his involvement in a new chapter as their secretary and alumni secretary and a term as Assistant Collegiate Province Representative. From 1997-2006, he served as Governor of Province 27. At the national level, he has served as a member of the National Executive Committee, chair of the Awards Committee, and a member of the Alumni Affairs Committee, in addition to his responsibilities as a Trustee of the Sinfonia Educational Foundation. In his spare time, he plays euphonium and baritone with the Atlantic Brass Band. He recently completed his MBA at the University of Delaware and currently works as an IT Audit Manager for a major accounting firm.

- Andrew graduated from the University of Texas (B.A. in Music, Music Business, 2007), and served in multiple leadership positions in his chapter as Treasurer and President, and in his province as ACPR and CPR. After graduation, Andrew took a job at a brand new arts facility in Austin, the Long Center for the Performing Arts, as a development professional. Andrew is also the Deputy Province Governor of Province 9.

- John is the owner of Nevada Law Group, Ltd. in Las Vegas and is licensed to practice in both Nevada and New Jersey. He obtained his J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law and holds an M.A. in Arts Administration from St. Mary's University in MN and a B.A. in Management from Webster Univ. in St. Louis. John's firm handles cases in Family Law, Criminal Defense, Estate and Probate Law, and Business and Franchise Law, as well as Entertainment Law. John was initiated at the Rho Chi Chapter at SUNY Fredonia in the Fall of 1991 and his most recent chapter was with Eta Nu at St. Mary's University.
John's fraternal experience includes numerous chapter officer positions, 2 terms as the CPR for Province 29, and 1 term as the Secretary of the CPR counsel. Additionally, John has produced two "Century of Brotherhood" CD's for the Foundation of fraternal songbook music and plans to release a "best of" compilation this year as well.

- Kevin began his work for Sinfonia when the Kappa Sigma Chapter at Valparaiso University initiated him as a collegiate member in spring 2001. He served his chapter as Inter-Fraternity Council representative and Chapter President, and graduated with a B.S. in Meteorology. Kevin then moved to Oklahoma to pursue advanced degrees in meteorology, where he was welcomed by the Mu Chapter at the University of Oklahoma. During his time in Oklahoma, Kevin has been an informal advisor to the chapter from 2003-2009 and was initiated as an honorary member of the chapter in 2007. After completing a M.S. in Meteorology in the summer of 2006, Kevin continued his studies in the Ph.D. program and will finish in the summer of 2009. Beginning in fall 2009, Kevin will be returning to Valparaiso University as a new Assistant Professor of Meteorology.

- Steve was initiated into the Kappa Zeta chapter at West Virginia Wesleyan College in Spring, 2000. In nine collegiate semesters at Kappa Zeta, Steve served his chapter in a number of roles including two terms as chapter president. He would later serve as Kappa Zeta’s faculty advisor from 2007-2010. At the Province level, Steve served as the ACPR of Province 27 in 2003-04, and since 2010 has served as the Governor of Province 39. Steve has also worked intermittently with the Sinfonia Educational Foundation since 2006 as a special consultant for marketing. Steve has held positions at Citizens Bank of Massachusetts, Starbucks Coffee Co, and J.F. Allen Co. In 2007, he accepted an invitation to return to his Alma Mater. Steve currently serves as the Senior Assistant Director of Admission at West Virginia Wesleyan, where he recruits undergraduate students and manages the admission office’s portfolio of recruitment marketing materials. Steve holds an M.A. in Communication Studies from West Virginia University, and B.A.s in Public Relations and History from West Virginia Wesleyan.

- Dr. Richard Crosby is Professor of Music at Eastern Kentucky University, where he's taught since 1986. He pledged the Eta-Omicron Chapter at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in1975. He is active as a pianist, teacher, composer, conductor and adjudicator. He also serves as the National President for Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity.

- John Doherty was initiated into the Alpha Rho chapter but was also active in the Iota Epsilon (UNC Greensboro) chapter. During his tenure in Province 20 he served in several chapter officer roles, was Collegiate Province Representative (89-92), Deputy Province Governor (92-94), and Province Governor (94-99). In 1991 President Robert Hause appointed him to serve as a member of the Commission on Standards. In 1994 Brother Doherty was appointed Chairman of the COS and served 2 trienniums in that position. Currently Brother Doherty is a Research Programmer/Analyst in the Education Studies Division of RTI International.
Mr. Mark L. Eutsler

- Mark Eutsler is currently on the Indiana Wesleyan University Adult Graduate Studies faculty, teaching music and business courses. He has served in executive marketing and resource development positions for Prudential Key Realty, Wesley Manor, Inc., Health Institute of Indiana, and Indiana 4-H Foundation. Under his leadership (1995-1999) the Arts Indiana Magazine in the Classroom program garnered four consecutive national awards from the Community Action Network and US Department of Education for using the arts to enhance critical thinking and writing skills throughout Indiana classrooms. In 1993 President Bill Clinton appointed him to a 20-year term on the US Selective Service System board and he chairs a local board. In 2004, Indiana Governor Joe Kernan appointed him to the Indiana Occupational Safety Standards Commission and he served as its chair 2006-2008. Current leadership responsibilities include co-chair of the 500 Festival Band Committee since 1992.
Dr. Jeffrey Highland

- Jeff Highland recently retired from the positions of Provost and Vice President of the College at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, where he taught political science and served in administrative positions for 32 years. He was initiated into Eta Nu chapter in 1980 as an honorary member; he served as its faculty adviser for 26 years. He was also Governor of Province 29 from 1989-2000. Dr. Highland is a pianist, keyboard accompanist, and church organist. He holds degrees from Pacific Lutheran University and Washington State University.

Dr. Mack McGrannahan III

- Dr. A.G. "Mack" McGrannahan III has served on the music faculty of the University of Nevada since 1975, and assumed the position of Director of Bands in 1979. Dr. McGrannahan received the Bachelor of Music Education degree from Murray State University, and the Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in trombone performance and conducting from the University of North Texas. His teaching responsibilities at the University include conducting the Wind Ensemble, Campus Band and administering the entire band program. In addition, he instructs all trombone, euphonium and tuba students at the University, and teaches courses in conducting and secondary instrumental methods. Dr. McGrannahan was director of the Lake Tahoe Music Camp, one of the most popular summer music camps on the west coast, for thirty years. In addition, he serves as the Conductor and Artistic Advisor for the Reno Wind Symphony, an adult community band, which was organized and founded in January 2006. In 2008, Dr. McGrannahan was elected to membership in the prestigious American Bandmasters Association. Active as an adjudicator and guest conductor throughout the United States, he is a Past President of the Nevada Music Educators Association and the Western Division of the College Band Directors National Association.

- John Mongiovi is a graduate of Rollins College (1993 - Biology) and the University of South Florida (1996 - M.M. music theory). Initiated in 1994, he has served as chapter president (1994-1996), Collegiate Province Representative (1996-1997), CPRs’ Council Chairman (1997-2000), Committeeman-At-Large (2000-2006), National Historian (2000-2006), and National Vice-President (2006-2009). Brother Mongiovi is a Trustee of the Sinfonia Educational Foundation and a member of its Executive Committee. He is a nationally certified and state licensed hypnotist, and is owner of Mind-Body Dynamics, LLC.

- Chris O'Donnell currently operates a private studio at the Brass Ring Center for the Performing Arts where he teaches all woodwind, brass, guitar, and string bass. O’Donnell received his Bachelor of Music from the University of North Texas in Denton, a Master of Music in Music Education and Conducting from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and is completing a PhD in music education from the University of Oklahoma in Norman. Chris also attended the Eastman School of Music of the University of Rochester, New York. Chris was a public school band director in the Oklahoma and Texas schools, including the nationally acclaimed the Lake Highlands Band program in the Richardson Independent School District. Chris also taught beginning band methods, score study, conducting, and was a conducting associate for the Wind Symphony at OU. Chris serves as a consultant for Texas and Oklahoma band programs. Chris currently serves as President of Carousel Productions, Inc., a musical benefits organization, and is also President of the Beverly Westheimer Wellnitz Charitable Foundation. Chris also serves on the board of directors for the Oklahoma School for the Deaf Foundation for Excellence in Education, and the Jerome M. Westheimer Family Foundation.
Walter Riley

- Walter C. Riley, originally from Detroit, Michigan, received his B.A. in Music Education, percussion, from Howard University (2005), in Washington, D.C. He was initiated into the Zeta Iota Chapter in 1998, where he served in a wide variety of chapter offices. Walter has served two terms as CPR of Province 27 (2001-2003) and has also served as Chairman of the CPRs' Council (2003-2006) and is currently the Committeeman-At-Large for the 2006-2012 trienniums. Walter is a Trustee of the Sinfonia Educational Foundation and has also worked in the fields of entertainment and arts management and is the Co-Founder of Versatile Management Group, an independent artist development and consulting organization. He currently serves as the Performing Arts Department Chair and Director of Jazz Orchestra & Percussion Ensemble at Woodrow Wilson Senior High School in Washington, DC. Walter is the proud father of Walter C. Riley, II.

- Dean Shatley has earned degrees from Appalachian State University (B.M. 1997) and the University of North Carolina School of Law (J.D. 2003). Currently, Dean’s law practice focuses on the representation of schools and colleges; in June 2009, he opened the firm of Campbell Shatley, PLLC. Prior to law school, Dean taught high school band and special education. He has served as CPR of Province 20, chair of the Enriched Collegiate Experience Committee, chair of the Risk Management Committee and Governor of Province 20.

- Calvin Van Niewaal is Professor of Computer Science and John F. Yothers Professor of Mathematics at Coe College where he has been a member of the faculty since 1981. He earned his BA in mathematics and physics from Cornell College in 1972 and holds MS degrees in mathematics (University of Kentucky 1975) and computer science (University of Iowa 1988). Cal has served on the Board of Governors of the Mathematical Association of America and received a Certificate of Meritorious Service from the MAA in 2006. Initiated into the Beta Kappa chapter in 1993 as a faculty member, Cal became the chapter’s faculty advisor a few months later. Since 2001 he has also served Sinfonia as Governor for Province 26.
