On Monday, July 19, 2004, the Fraternity launched its new website, http://www.sinfonia.org/. This site merges all of the content on the Fraternity’s two previous websites (lyrecrest.net and sinfonia.org) into one site that features a rich look and feel and an organized structure.
The newly overhauled site includes access to tons of Fraternity resources, automated MyDesktop access for new users, risk management resources, and online historical archives. Some aspects of the site, including the historical writings and National Headquarters information, are being developed further for later addition to the site. Soon, the Sinfonia Store will also be overhauled to provide the best possible shopping experience for Fraternity merchandise!
The site was designed by Terrell Weatherford, former Director of Programs and Services, in his last weeks on the National Staff. Brother Weatherford put in a Herculean effort to develop a site that would appropriately honor the Fraternity on the internet, and that would be helpful and welcoming for collegiate members, alumni, and non-members looking for general information. He deserves a large amount of praise from the Fraternity for his excellent work. Brother Weatherford will be continuing his efforts as webmaster on a volunteer basis from his new home in Georgia.
