The Volunteer of the Year award is designed to honor a Sinfonian who has significantly contributed to the betterment of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia through volunteer work on the chapter, province, or national level. Current National Executive Committee members are not eligible to receive this award. The award is presented three times per year to one Sinfonian in each of these three categories: Faculty Advisor, Province Governor, and General Volunteer.
Does your Faculty Advisor deserve this award? Has your Province Governor gone above and beyond the call of duty? Is there another Fraternity volunteer whose dedication and devotion has inspired you? If so, then please consider nominating them for this award. Members may nominate candidates by completing the application (available in the Guide to Awards or at www.sinfonia.org) and forwarding it to the National Headquarters. The National President will consider nominations and have his selections ratified by the National Executive Committee at their next regularly scheduled meeting. Nominations must be received no later than April 1, 2007.
Nomination forms can be found in the Guide to Awards, available here. Please forward any questions to Jeremy Evans, director of collegiate affairs, at (800) 473-2649 ext. 102 or evans@sinfonia.org.
