Lyrecrest is an excellent place to learn and hone your professional skills while advancing the ideals of Sinfonia. Offering the best in Brotherhood, Opportunity, Responsibility, and Reward, we are seeking enthusiastic and well-qualified applicants to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to help shape our beloved organization while gaining valuable skills and experiences that will help to advance their professional career. Internships are a fantastic way to learn about the inner-workings of Sinfonia, all while meeting and working with Brothers from around the country and building your resume. Phi Mu Alpha is offering positions in our new intern program that will span three months during the summer, extending June 1 through August 31, 2014.

Specific Skills Needed:

    • Good organizational skills and the ability to plan and manage work.
    • Strong team players who get the job done.
    • Ability to manage a large volume of data with specific attention to detail.
    • Excellent verbal skills paired with active and effective written communication capabilities.
    • Gardening, Landscaping, and Horticulture passion and skills.
    • Digital Photography and Video skills, including design and editing.
    • Experience with web design and content development.
    • IT and technical skills; proficiency with VB, PHP, SQL, MySQL, and additional database management.
    • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency including advanced Excel functionality.
    • Application development and testing proficiency.
    • Cataloging, Archiving, and preserving chapter and Fraternity historical materials.
    • Training and Leadership skills, including the ability to develop and deliver training content with a message.
    • Graphic design skills.
    • Background in Merchandising, Marketing, or Sales.
    • Fundraising interest and a passion to expand and improve alumni and donor relations.
    • No fear of physical labor.
    • Strong knowledge of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia’s history and traditions.
