Music that Makes a Difference

“I can think of no better exemplification of Sinfonia’s ideal to uplift others with music than the Mills Music Mission. It is my sincere hope that all Sinfonians will take this opportunity to honor the work of our Founder, Ossian E. Mills, whose Flower Missions took place on Christmas and Easter each year and share the power of music with our fellow man.”  – Mark R. Lichtenberg, National President

Join us for National Mills Music Mission week
April 14 – 20, 2019

In accordance with the dates of our Founder, Ossian Everett Mills’ original Flower Mission, National Mills Music Mission week will take place during the days leading up to Easter Sunday.

During the week of April 14th, Brothers across the county are encouraged to partake in a Mills Music Mission in their local communities as part of the Fraternity’s National Philanthropy.

Take the opportunity to share music with those who need it most. Share in a song, tell a story; make a connection that brightens someone’s day. Through music and our efforts, we can make a difference where it counts.

The Mills Music Mission Impact Map

As Brothers report their Mills Music Mission experiences, they are displayed on the Mills Music Mission Impact Map. The map is a look at the impact of the Fraternity’s philanthropic efforts across the country.

Visit the Mills Music Mission page to check out the map. While exploring, click on a location for a closer look at where the Brothers of Phi Mu Alpha have visited and made a difference in the lives of others.
