Information for the 58th National Convention

Below you will find relevant and important information about the upcoming National Convention, as well as the button which will take you to the form where you can register to attend.

We are nearing the 58th National Convention and there are several items which must be covered for those who wish to attend to observe the work of the National Assembly. Some items will be addressed directly here and others can be found in the FAQ at the bottom of the page.

Some important reminders:

  • This convention, and the meeting of the National Assembly, is virtual.
  • All Brothers are encouraged to attend any of the open sessions.
  • All Brothers need to register by July 17, 2025 to be included on the list of registrants who will be admitted to the session dedicated to voting (we are using a third-party platform which requires the time restrictions)
  • Only members in good standing can attend.
  • The standard rules the Fraternity has used for virtual gatherings will be in affect (camera, name, etc.) If a Brother is removed, he will not be able to rejoin that session due to Zoom’s policy.
  • A video recording of the proceedings will be made for the Fraternity’s record.

As a notice to all Brothers who wish to attend, some of Zoom’s functionalities will be disabled for these sessions. That includes the use of the chat. There will be no chat function during the sessions, as it may become a distraction to the delegates.

FAQ

What events are going to be covered during the National Convention?

The sessions covered will be, primarily, the business sessions of the National Assembly. There will be a candidates’ forum outside the business of the National Assembly.

Can non-delegates attend all the sessions?

All sessions, excluding the meetings of the PG’s and CPR’s Councils, will be open to all Brothers in good standing.

Will chat be enabled during these sessions?

No. The chat function will be turned off in Zoom to ensure that it does not become a distraction for the delegates.

When do I need to register?

All registrations must be completed by July 17, 2025. Registration will close and there will not be an opportunity register after that date.

How will voting work?

The Fraternity will be using a thrid-party program called GetQuorum. They specialize in managing meetings and voting for organizations around the world.

Delegates (and guests) will recieve a meeting link to the GetQuorum platform where their managers will assist in execution and tabulation.

The time restraints on registration are tied to allowing non-delegates admission to this session. GetQuorum must have the full guest list a week in advance.

Can I stream the sessions?

No. Live streaming any of the sessions online (via Youtube, Twitch, Facebook, or any other streaming service) will be considered a violation of the registration and attendance policies and any individual comitting said act will be removed. This does not include watch parties.

Can I host a watch party?

Yes. All individuals must register and denote which party they are attending when they register. An individual who does not register, cannot attend. All party organizers are responsible for ensuring that all in attendance are in good standing.
