Sinfonia Song Challenge

The Sinfonia Song Challenge, #1

In September, President Lichtenberg issued a challenge to all chapters, colonies, and alumni associations. Using the hashtag, #sinfoniasongchallenge, Brother Lichtenberg asked our affiliates to submit videos of our Fraternity brothers singing as one and winning the world to harmony through Songs Are Best at Candlelight, found in the Fraternity’s songbook.

With the passing of the submission deadline last week, Mark has chosen to highlight not just one or two videos, but several that showcase our brothers’ musicality, creativity, and drive to share music with others – advancing “Sing As One,” the iconic theme of our National Convention in New Orleans.

Here’s what Mark had to say in response to the entries for the first challenge:

“Thanks to everyone who entered this month’s #SinfoniaSongChallenge! There were entries from individual members, chapters, alumni associations, and provinces. Thanks to everyone who accepted the challenge, and be sure to watch The Sinfonian Network for my next video message announcing the next song!  Enjoy!”

The winner of the October Sinfonia Song Challenge is the Gamma Phi chapter at Texas State University!

Special mention goes to the Gamma Theta chapter at the University of North Texas!

The Alumni Spirit Award goes to the New York Area Alumni Association!

Need an acoustic version? Ben Pagliaro has got it covered.

How about barbershop style? Andrew Miller's done it!
