On Giving Tuesday, the Sinfonia Educational Foundation kicked off an end-of-year goal, seeking to raise $100,000 by December 31, 2021, for the SEF General Fund. This marked the SEF’s first-ever appeal launched on Giving Tuesday, which happened to fall this year on the 67th anniversary of the creation of our Foundation. We know that many worthy organizations request your donations on Giving Tuesday, and we are very grateful for your response.

We received more than 100 gifts at or beyond our $100 suggested donation, and we are pleased that many of these donations represented first-time gifts to the Sinfonia Educational Foundation. We raised over $12,300 toward our goal in the first week of the campaign from Brothers representing 63 chapters. We thank all the Brothers who have given so selflessly in these challenging times to support Sinfonia and its mission.

A Brother who supports the goal of our challenge has agreed to match every dollar donated and received through December 31, 2021, up to $45,000! This generous matching gift will give your donation twice the impact, and move us closer to meeting The Challenge.

Whether your gift is intended to honor a Brother, recognize our accomplishments, or simply to join in support of the work of Sinfonia, each gift is important and very much needed.

The mission of the Sinfonia Educational Foundation is
to enrich the lives of Sinfonians and to advance music in America.
