Congratulations to Brother John McClain (Epsilon Phi Chapter – 2011) on being named Ohio Music Education Association’s Outstanding Young Music Educator of the Year! This award recognizes a music teacher who goes beyond the normal teaching duties in promoting music education and the arts in their school system, community, region, and/or state.
After graduating from Capital University in 2014, Brother McClain went on to become the Director of Choirs at Logan High School in Logan, Ohio. For the first time in the school’s history, under his direction, the Logan High School Chamber Singers were a featured ensemble at OMEA’s Professional Development Conference earlier this month.
